Who Are We? For over 25 years, Last Rights of Central Pennsylvania (LRCP) has been helping individuals and families to avoid the emotional confusion and high expense often associated with caring for the deceased. We do this through education and advocacy. Our main goal is to help you to understand the broad range of after-death care options available to you so that your choices are personally meaningful--and affordable. Most people are actually surprised by what is possible. WONDERING ABOUT HOME FUNERALS OR GREEN BURIAL? For local home funeral information, click here. Watch

Volunteers are available to offer presentations at colleges, funeral societies, religious organizations, health-care agencies, medical facility in-services, etc. We are also available to assist families in planning either a conventional or a family-directed funeral (by providing information about legal procedures, memorial ceremonies, and local end-of-life establishments that will work directly with your wishes). Some of our members are also available to walk through the entire home funeral process with you when a death occurs (including caring for the deceased loved one at home, helping to create a personally meaningful ceremony, making necessary arrangements with local establishments, etc.). If you are interested in any of the above, contact Laurie Mulvey. |
